Jura A1-Piano Black

The Jura A1 offers the smallest footprint of any of our Jura machines, with a width of just 23.5cm, making it suitable for smaller kitchens or work areas and other applications where space may be at a premium.

Despite the small package, it boasts much of the functionality which has made the Swiss-based Jura brand famous world-wide, including the multi-level high-speed G3 Grinder, variable strength brewing unit and patented pulse-extraction process.  At the touch of a button, it is now possible to produce coffee of barista grade intensity in your own home with aromas and crema layers that budget-brand competitors simply cannot rival.

The A1 is a non-milk machine, meaning it can produce short and long black coffees. This is ideal for the coffee enthusiast who is looking to sample coffee in its purest forms, such as ristretto, espresso and Americano, or for the at-home connoisseur who is happy to prepare their own milk to add to drinks as required. The machine supports three different cup sizes and two coffee strengths, allowing you to easily configure it for whatever takes your mood or to suit different tastes in the same household.

Whilst other Jura machines offer a wider range of drinks, the A1 provides an excellent base for customers looking to buy their first mid-market full automatic. The sister model in the A-Series, the A7, offers a similar specification with the addition of some milk functions.

With an integrated 1.1-litre water tank the machine is capable of producing between 4 to 9 drinks, as well as storing the spent ‘pucks’ from each coffee produced in its integrated grounds container. It’s ideally suited to being filled once or twice per day, with a recommended service level of up to ten coffees per day.
