Many of Jura's coffee machines are operated using a modern, user-friendly TFT (thin film transistor) display screen.

These high-resolution touch screen interfaces now make it easier than ever to produce exceptional coffee at home or at the office. With a clear yet simple layout, selecting a beverage from the available products is straightforward, and customisations to each drink can be completed in a matter of seconds.

What's more, the interactive display makes maintaining the machine completely hassle-free, as it will show alerts when the filter has been exhausted or cleaning cycles need to be carried out. Such cleaning cycles are started with just a few touches on the screen, which also provides step by step instructions on how to successfully complete each process. colour display, large preparation buttons and automatic switching between dispensing of milk and milk foam, meaning that operation is incredibly easy, even for individuals who have never used such a machine before.

One of the standout functions of the X8 is its capability to make two milk-based drinks simultaneously just as it can for black coffee specialities. Taking just 1 minute 18 seconds to dispense two cappuccini and 48 seconds for two espressi, it's quick without compromising on quality.

Although it comes with a huge water tank, there is the option for it to be plumbed into mains water using a fresh water kit, ensuring it can offer outstanding performance whether mobile or fixed in one location. In order to keep the water and coffee beans tamper-free, the lids of both containers are fitted with locking mechanisms so that they can only be accessed and refilled by authorised personnel.

Maintenance of the machine is as straightforward as its operation due to integrated cleaning, rinsing and descaling programmes which the machine prompts you to activate on the display screen. It has a monitored drip tray and the spent grounds container can hold the waste from 40 preparations. Emptying the machine is easy to do as the drip tray and coffee grounds container can be removed from the front of the machine with one hand.
